A Rowan County Senior High School sophomore met his idol and watched his favorite NFLteam in action recently, thanks to a partnership between the team, a local football coach and school officials.Mark Kidd, an enthusiastic football fan who idolizes Indianapolis Colts AllPro quarterback Peyton Manning, traveled with his family to Lucas Oil Stadium to watch the Colts Nov. 6 home game against the Atlanta Falcons from one of the best spots in the house the sidelines.He also met Manning, who hasn played this season because of a series of neck surgeries, and Colts tight end Jacob Tamme, a former University of Kentucky Wildcat.(Mark) is still talking about (the trip), his mother, Melissa Kidd, said Friday.
