Bedlam Games, the developer of Dungeons Dragons Daggerdale is reportedly on the verge of being shut down after laying off the large majority of its staff in July. Various sources have indicated about 90 percent of the staff have been put on "temporary layoff. Thus it looks like D Daggerdale will never make its longdelayed appearance on the Playstation Network.There are interesting questions here, but not more interesting than usual. Did Roger Goodell want people to die? Is he a killer? That crazy, right? But he clearly pursued a path that protected his and the league financial interest to the detriment of the players and the result is probably some player casualties. Is he different here than some executive in big tobacco 30 years ago? Maybe not, but I don think that surprising either.
