Here, we have identified a redoxmediated signalling mechanism directly regulating TDP43. Using in vitro and cellbased studies, we demonstrate that oxidative stress promotes TDP43 crosslinking via cysteine oxidation and disulphide bond formation leading to decreased TDP43 solubility.
